It’s a smaller brush that you really won’t be able to use as a contouring brush or even to apply the brush. The brush is useless which I anyway do not put to use.

Maybelline contour powder skin#
All the three powders do their job well and do not irritate the skin or cause any acne or anything.

Quality: The overall quality of the Maybelline Master Contour Face Contouring Kit in Medium to Deep is definitely above average and more towards the fabulous side. Longevity: The blush, the contour and the highlighter do have considerable longevity and do stay on the face for about 6-7 hours which is incredible! I do set my face with a setting spray or a face mist and it does increase the longevity of this product. It’s not very bold like the Becca highlighters, but certainly does a good job!

The best part of this highlighter is that it does not make me look like a disco ball and is suitable for almost all skin colours. It provides just the right amount of glow that I need and adds life to the face. The powder is soft and blends like a dream on the skin. It’s a muted copper-y golden shade with warm undertones. Highlighter: This is probably the best powder in this contour kit by Maybelline. If you do not use highlighter on a daily basis and yet want some glow, then this blush is made for you! Also, since this blush has some shimmer (it’s not as scary as it sounds), it provides quite some highlighting effect to the face. I usually use this blush as a “blush topper” and it works really well in providing a golden-y glow-y finish to my cheeks. It does accentuate the dry patches of the skin if used on its own. It looks really pretty on the skin but not as pigmented as I would like. It’s a perfect powder for everyday wear.īlush Powder: The blush is a gorgeous peachy pink shade with a sheen and finely milled specks of golden glitter. It gives some good amount of warmth to the face and also contours the face to some extent, but nothing major. If you are into proper face cutting for contour, then this product is not for you. It is a matte contouring powder which I like and blends on the face very well. I got the shade “Medium to Deep” because the lighter shade was so light that it would not show up very well on my skin, even though my complexion is fair. Also, there are no names for the 3 different powders, but I don’t have any major complaints with the packaging, it’s nice.Ĭontour Powder: The contour powder is a nice soft-textured powder with good pigmentation. I think since this kit is fantastic for travelling, it should come with a mirror. Good – as it makes the product visible through it and bad – because then it does not come with a mirror. The lid of the compact is clear which is good and bad. It has a sturdy black casing which contains the 3 pans of the blush, contouring powder and highlighter. It comes with 3 products which makes it a very compact kit for contouring. Packaging: The packaging of this contour kit is pretty nice and looks really fancy with a glance. Well, I would say I quite like this product. People in the beauty world either love it or hate it. Anyway, I would say that this baby by Maybelline is quite a controversial product. Maybelline has come out with quite a fancy kit which includes a blush, a contouring powder, a highlighting powder and a brush – which helps with the application of none of the products in the kit!! Very rarely do we find that the brush that accompanies such makeup kits, are really useful. My Experience with Maybelline by Face Studio Master Contour Face Contouring Kit:
